Manage Your Server — Power, IP, and Delete on EasyCloudify™

TL;DR — The EasyCloudify™ Server Detail page lets you view specs, toggle power, copy your server's IP addresses, and delete the server when no longer needed.

What is the Server Detail Page?

The EasyCloudify™ Server Detail page is the management view for an individual cloud server, accessible at /cloudpanel/server/[id]. It shows hardware specs, network information, and power controls, and provides actions for managing backups, snapshots, and server deletion.

Before You Start

  • You have at least one server deployed (see Deploy a VPS Server)

How to Access Server Details

From the Dashboard home (/cloudpanel), click any server card in your server list. The Server Detail page opens at /cloudpanel/server/[id].

Server Status and Identity

At the top of the Server Detail page, you see:

  • Status indicator — Green dot = active/running; red dot = powered off
  • Server name and distribution (operating system)
  • Image details — Distribution name and server creation date
  • IPv4 badge — Shows your server's public IP address with a COPY button
  • Region badge — Shows the data center region

Server Specifications

A stats grid displays the server's hardware:

MetricDescription
CPUsNumber of virtual CPUs
MemoryRAM in GB
DiskStorage in GB
BandwidthNetwork bandwidth in Gbps

How to Toggle Server Power

Step 1 — Locate the Power Control

In the Controls row on the Server Detail page, find the Power section with a toggle switch.

Step 2 — Toggle ON or OFF

Flip the toggle switch to power the server ON or OFF. The current state is displayed as "ON" or "OFF" next to the switch. EasyCloudify™ sends a power action to the server and the status updates.

💡 Tip: Powering off a server stops it from running but does not delete it. Your data is preserved and the server can be powered back on at any time.

How to Copy Your Server's IP Address

Copy IPv4

Click the COPY button next to the IPv4 badge in the server identity card. The IP address is copied to your clipboard.

Copy IPv6

In the IPv6 section of the Controls row, click the COPY button next to the truncated IPv6 address. A "Copied" confirmation message briefly appears.

How to Manage Backups and Snapshots

From the server action menu (three-dot or gear icon on the Server Detail page):

  • Manage Backups → navigates to /cloudpanel/backups
  • Manage Snapshots → navigates to /cloudpanel/snapshots

How to Delete a Server

Step 1 — Open the Server Menu

Click the action menu on the Server Detail page and select Delete Server.

Step 2 — Confirm Deletion

A confirmation modal appears. Click Delete Server to confirm.

💡 Tip: Deleting a server is permanent and irreversible. EasyCloudify™ deletes the server, releases any associated reserved IPs, and removes the server record from your account. Create a snapshot before deleting if you want to preserve the server's disk state.

On confirm: EasyCloudify™ deletes reserved IPs, destroys the server, and removes it from your account. You are then redirected to /cloudpanel.

Troubleshooting

Issue: IPv4 shows as blank or "Provisioning". Why it happens: The server is still being provisioned and has not received an IP address yet. Fix: Wait 2–5 minutes and refresh the page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does powering off a server stop billing?

No. Billing is subscription-based and continues regardless of server power state. Delete the server to stop its subscription.

Can I rename my server?

The server name is set at deployment time. To change the displayed name, update the server record via your account.
