ONLYOFFICE Workspace is a complete self-hosted office suite that combines document editing, project management, CRM, email, calendars, and team communication into one platform. ONLYOFFICE Docs — the built-in editor — is highly compatible with Microsoft Office formats (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx) as well as .odt, .ods, .odp, .pdf, .rtf, .csv, and more.

This VPS image deploys the Community Edition, intended for teams of up to 20 users. For larger organizations requiring professional support and scalability, the Enterprise Edition is available separately.

Real-time document co-authoring, comment tracking, version history, and a built-in chat make it easy for distributed teams to collaborate. Additional tools including Gantt charts, time tracking, reporting, polls, and a multi-format media player round out the productivity suite.

Getting Started

1. Deploy ONLYOFFICE Workspace on an EasyCloudify VPS

Deploy this app from the EasyCloudify Marketplace. Use a VPS with at least 4 GB of RAM for production use.

2. Finalize Configuration via SSH

Briefly connect to your VPS via SSH to complete the first-run configuration:

Follow any prompts shown in the terminal.

3. Launch Your ONLYOFFICE Portal

Once the SSH configuration step is complete, open a browser and navigate to:

http://your-vps-ip

The ONLYOFFICE setup wizard will guide you through creating your administrator account and configuring your workspace.

4. Set Up SSL (Recommended)

To secure your ONLYOFFICE instance with HTTPS, use the built-in Control Panel. Go to Control Panel > HTTPS and follow the Let's Encrypt configuration wizard. Ensure your domain's DNS A record points to your VPS IP before proceeding.

Managing ONLYOFFICE

Check the status of ONLYOFFICE services:

Post-Deployment Notes

All data is stored within Docker volumes — back them up regularly.
Use the Control Panel (accessible from the ONLYOFFICE interface) to manage users, configure email settings, and apply branding.
Integration with Dropbox, Google Drive, DocuSign, Twilio, and WordPress is available through the Control Panel.
